Ajuste de Equipo de Tiro de Precisión: La Guía Definitiva para Tu Carabina y Chaqueta
Fit the equipment to the position, never the position to the equipment. Build a relaxed, bone-supported position first, then adjust butt plate height and offset, cheekpiece height, length of pull and sight height so that the eye arrives behind the aperture without searching and the rifle sits without being held there. Change one setting at a time and shoot enough shots to judge it. Competition clothing must comply with your federation's rules on stiffness and dimensions, so check the current rulebook before buying.
The order that saves time
- 1. Build the position without worrying about the sights.
- 2. Set butt plate height and offset so the rifle sits in the shoulder pocket naturally.
- 3. Set length of pull so the trigger hand is relaxed and the finger reaches the trigger cleanly.
- 4. Set cheekpiece height so the eye lines up with the aperture with the head upright.
- 5. Only then fine-tune sight height and hand-stop position.
Signs the fit is wrong
You tilt your head to find the sights. You press the cheek down to see through the aperture. The butt slides during the series. The trigger hand has to reach or crowd. Any of these puts muscle work into a position that should be resting.
Clothing
A jacket and trousers add support, but support that fights your position is worse than none. The jacket should hold the position you already build, not create a different one. Federation rules limit stiffness, thickness and dimensions, and these are checked at equipment control in competition.
Rules change between seasons and differ between federations and classes. Always verify against the current rulebook for your discipline.
Qué no cambiar todavía
- Do not change equipment settings and technique at the same time.
- Do not adjust the stock in the week before an important competition.
Principio de ShootMind
Equipment should make a good position easier, never make a poor position possible.
Preguntas frecuentes
