Why we give no universal click values
Sight systems differ between manufacturers, models and distances. Click value, direction convention and adjustment range are properties of your specific equipment, so the manufacturer's documentation is the correct source — not a number from the internet.
A workable sequence
- Shoot a group large enough to have a meaningful centre.
- Determine the centre, ignoring the temptation to exclude a shot you disliked.
- Make one measured adjustment according to the documentation.
- Confirm with another group before adjusting again.

- Do not adjust after a single shot, and do not adjust and change technique in the same session — you will not know which one moved the group.
