Pressão de Punho no Tiro de Precisão: Quão Forte Agarrar a Pistola?

There is no universal grip-pressure percentage that is correct for every precision pistol shooter. The important qualities are stability, control and repeatability without unnecessary tension. A grip that changes during the trigger action is usually more problematic than one that is simply somewhat firmer or softer. Find a pressure you can reproduce throughout a session and keep it stable through the shot.

The consistency problem

Shooters often ask whether it should be 30%, 50% or 70%. That implies a precision that does not really exist. A more useful question is: can I reproduce this grip on the next shot?

Signs worth investigating

  • Too much tension may contribute to fatigue, tremor and difficulty reproducing the grip.
  • Too little control may allow unwanted movement.
  • Individual anatomy, pistol design and grip shape all matter, so copy nobody's number.

Test it instead of guessing

Compare several groups using intentionally consistent but slightly different grip-pressure levels. Do not change anything else intentionally.

  • perceived stability
  • sight movement
  • trigger freedom
  • group size
  • fatigue

Perguntas frequentes
